2048 Decks is a strategic game based on the popular 2048 game concept. Unlike the classic 2048 game, every time you swipe, all the numbers will slide just one cell in the direction of your swipe. Also, two tiles are merged if there is no room for the other tile in front of it.
Each move in the 2048 Decks game needs some planning. Since the board moves only one cell at a time, it becomes important to arrange the numbers in such a way that you have enough space for creating new combinations. Filling up unnecessary spaces may end up with no room left to do anything.
By eliminating the randomness of the game, the puzzles are provided according to an already decided deck. In this manner, you get to know what tiles are going to come up next. With knowledge about upcoming challenges, you can make arrangements for the board ahead of time.
2048 Decks present four decks where each one comes with new strategies to use. The regular deck revolves around the use of numbered tiles, whereas the stone deck consists of blockers that are fixed until cracked.
Wild cards will give you a card that can be valued at anything for you to finish your difficult combination, while the fourth deck comes into play to give your board extra space after having your largest tile.
It is possible to play the game using a mouse/touchscreen by dragging the board towards your desired direction. If you are playing the game using the keyboard, you can move the board using the Arrow Keys/WASD keys. If you made a wrong move, hit Z to undo the step.
Hit the Escape/P key at any time to pause the game and analyze the current situation.
