Dont Wordle is a brilliant word game that entirely reverses the original rules of Wordle. Your task is not to try to find out the hidden word but to try to stay away from guessing it as long as you can. Although the idea seems to be quite easy, it is not until you make guesses that you get more information.
In the normal game of Wordle, the player tries to deduce the right word from certain hints. In Dont Wordle, the hints become hindrances for the player. The player has to keep guessing the five-letter words without coming across the secret word.
Each attempt gives away some information that the subsequent attempts have to take into account.
Submit five-letter words that are correct and try using the hints wisely without uncovering the hidden word. Defeat the puzzle game and live for as long as you can.
This game makes use of the well-known color scheme from Wordle:
Green: The letter is placed correctly and must remain in the same place in future attempts.
Yellow: The letter is part of the word, but in the wrong place. Future attempts must have this letter somewhere else.
Gray: The letter is not part of the word and cannot be used anymore.
With more clues coming in, the possible words will be greatly reduced.
At the top of the screen, you can observe how many words are left for you. In case you have limited options, you may utilize one of your precious UNDOs in order to make some more options available.
Guessing the correct Wordle word by chance is a surefire way to lose. This will cause the game to be instantly over despite any remaining UNDOs.
