Mahjong Handle is an unusual game, which features elements of the strategy of riichi mahjong and the guessing game mechanics of Wordle. The player’s goal is to determine the concealed winning mahjong hand in six tries or fewer. With each try, the gamer gets important clues about the right set of tiles, which helps to guess the combination.

The player needs to determine a legitimate hand of riichi mahjong in each level. The concealed hand has at least one yaku, and all the tiles are organized by suits and categories in an ascending order.
Upon submission of an answer, the game marks tiles with various colors:
Green: The tile is in the hand and in the right position.
Orange: The tile is in the hand but not in the correct place.
Gray: The tile is not in the hand.
