Nonogram Daily works on solving a mystery picture by using a series of clues, which are provided at the top of the grid and along the side. Numbers show the number of filled-in squares in that column or row and must be filled in one after another. The clues must be observed so that the possible options can be eliminated, and eventually the entire picture is discovered.
Each puzzle needs an ability to observe, logic, and patience, making each completed picture a great sense of achievement.
Look at the numbers surrounding the grid first. These provide clues to the number of filled squares in each row and column. Bear in mind that a block of filled squares must have at least one empty square separating it.
You can work out more and more parts of the puzzle by adding on more pieces, which are not difficult to work out at this stage.
It's helpful to start with a row or column that has a large number, because that usually gives the most information. Cross off empty squares when you know for sure that they can't have filled squares in them. There's no time limit; use your head, and you can be successful.
